SALES MANAGER

The Sales Manager will be responsible for coordinating the regional operations of UC. This position involves significant responsibility and high level of target orientation. The current product portfolio of UC includes NSTSE - a diagnostic test, Unified Knowledge Box - a kit for reinforcing skills and resource books.

Unified Council’s flag ship offering is NSTSE- a diagnostic skill-based test that measures "understanding" and provides detailed feedback to children from class 3-12 about what their academic strengths and weaknesses are. More than 2 million tests have been administered to students in the past 8 years in India, Nepal, Middle East, Tanzania and Indonesia. NSTSE offers schools the ability to benchmark themselves vis-à-vis the schools in the country and helps them pinpoint areas of strength and weakness for students with respect to the curriculum.

Job Description

1. Interacting and building relationships with School Principals, Management and Teachers to create and service the demand for UC offerings.
2. Building a team of Regional Co-ordinators who will be the front line of the sales effort.
3. Inspiring, leading and coordinating the team to evolve into partners working towards a common goal of school improvement with the school management.
4. Take NSTSE into the next stage of product growth through penetration in schools of small cities and towns.
5. Coordinate with Heads of different products and services to ensure Maximum geographical reach and coverage.
   
   Desired Profile:
   
6. Field level sales experience of at least 5 years with proven record.
7. Strong target orientation with a history of overachievement of targets.
8. A quick learner with a deep personal motivation towards self-improvement.

11. Extensive experience of travel and knowledge of the region would be a distinct advantage

Job Description

1. Building a list of schools in your town/ city, periodically visiting them and making presentations regarding NSTSE in schools.
2. Coordinating between the Schools that sign up and Unified Council to ensure smooth progress of the assessment test and other activities.
3. Following-up on activities conducted in schools and get feedback from students and teachers.
4. Reporting on a regular basis to the Relationship Manager of your region.

5. Good communication skills and an attitude of accepting challenges.
6. Teachers/Professors with an orientation towards School Education preferred.
7. Homemakers who have worked previously and who can devote upto 4 hours a day.
8. Ready to work on a freelance basis. Most of the remuneration is paid in the form of commissions so the potential to earn is unlimited.

Educational Specialists

Unified Council's mission is to significantly improve the quality of learning in schools by developing innovative, research-based products.
India has a large number of teachers and principals (the practitioners) and it has educational experts - but it probably lacks a layer of educational technologists (those who understand the theory, try it out in practice and modify it). Unified Council attempts to provide that layer for India's educational system.

Job Description

1. Be a part Unified Council's team of educational specialists in developing high quality diagnostic tests that can accurately pi-point learning and provide specific feedback for improvement.
2. Instructional designing/curriculum related books
3. Participate in subject based research projects with the objective of designing more effective assessment methods.

4. Very strong academic fundamentals (school level English, Math, Science)- should have got 80+% in school Board exams.

3. Developing templates for other material such as certificates, mark sheets, analysis forms to improve readability and communicate the message intended for the students and parents.
